Posted on November 3, 2026 by Dissent

ITV reports yet more insider snooping by hopsital employees in the wake of the Southport terror attack:

A second hospital in Liverpool is carrying out an investigation into two potential instances of staff accessing medical records connected with the Southport terror attack.

The cases were detected at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital as part of a retrospective audit and two members of staff have been placed on precautionary suspension whilst an investigation is concluded.

Leaders from the hospital say they are “deeply sorry” and say that they have made contact with those that are affected and informed them that an investigation is underway.

The matter has also been reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office and the Care Quality Commission.
